ALL-ON-4

ALL-ON-4

The All-on-4 treatment is an innovative dental procedure designed to restore a full arch of missing teeth using just four dental implants. It is a popular and efficient solution for individuals who have lost most or all of their teeth and are seeking a stable and long-lasting tooth replacement option.

Initial Consultation
The treatment begins with an initial consultation with a qualified implant dentist. During this consultation, the dentist will assess your oral health, examine your jawbone density, and discuss your treatment goals and expectations.

Treatment Planning
Using advanced imaging technology such as X-rays, CT scans, or 3D imaging, the dentist will create a detailed treatment plan. This plan includes determining the optimal placement of the dental implants and designing the prosthesis that will be attached to them.

Dental Implant Placement

On the day of the procedure, the dentist will administer local anesthesia or sedation to ensure your comfort. The four dental implants will be strategically placed in the jawbone. Typically, two implants are inserted vertically in the anterior (front) part of the jaw, while two implants are angled posteriorly to achieve maximum support and stability.

Temporary Prosthesis Placement

After the implants are placed, a temporary prosthesis or denture will be attached to the implants on the same day. This temporary prosthesis allows you to have functional teeth while the implants integrate with the jawbone during the healing process.

Healing and Osseointegration
Over the next few months, the dental implants will fuse with the surrounding jawbone through a process called osseointegration. This ensures a strong and stable foundation for the final prosthesis.

Final Prosthesis Placement

Once the healing period is complete, the temporary prosthesis will be replaced with a permanent, custom-made prosthesis. This prosthesis is typically made from high-quality materials like porcelain or acrylic, and it is designed to match the shape, size, and color of natural teeth, providing a natural-looking smile.

Follow-up Care

Regular appointments of every 6 months with a dentist are crucial to monitor the progress of your treatment, ensure the implants are functioning properly, and maintain good oral health. Your dentist will provide instructions on oral hygiene practices and schedule routine check-ups to ensure the longevity of your All-on-4 restoration.

The All-on-4 treatment offers numerous advantages, such as reduced treatment time, improved aesthetics, enhanced chewing function, and increased confidence. It can significantly improve your quality of life by restoring your ability to eat, speak, and smile with comfort and confidence.
